Move over, Gaga! Britney Spears gifted Pop Fans with a Golden Nugget (Which is almost as good as a Golden Ticket to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory….)Thursday when she Tweeted the official single cover art for “Hold It Against Me” — the pop tart’s first single since the 2009 charttopper “3.”
“Hold it Against Me” is the first single from Spears’ as-yet untitled studio album, which is due for release in March and features production by Swedish producer Shellbeck. Brit gets back to her dance-infused roots on the single, which will debut to radio and iTunes next Tuesday.
On Thursday, a leaked demo version of the new single — very early production version of the track — emerged online. Word on the Curb has it that the production, vocals, and structure will sound very different on the official single we’ll hear next week.
