Per wikipedia, 1 Petabyte = 1000 terabytes
The better tidbit from Wikipedia is that Data from Star Trek had a capacity of 100 petabytes. So, Apple has a ways to go until they get something really interesting. iData?
Petabytes didn't exist in my dictionary until today. Thank you, MacRumors.
And it's a new one for the dictionary in Chrome on Windows, too. Petabyte gets the little red squiggly underline. But Safari on the Mac is hip to the lingo and knew the spelling.

In the $25K sedan segment, I would consider the Ford Fusion first. At $40K, the Infinity G37 and BMW 3 series win.

What remote are you using on your Finder bar for iTunes?
It's called TunesArt (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/ipod_itunes/tunesart.html).
It's free and can automatically find lyrics of your music when you play it.

Other indications that this is PR spin/backpeddling:
1. They picked a size of 2mb for the db "turns out it was fairly large."
If they are ENGINEERS as Jobs says - they know how big 2MB is. They also know how much ascii data they can store in 2MB. Which is HUGE. GINORMOUS for straight text.
2. Deflected the very fact that this DB is stored on the computer. A bit of spin to imply that the only way to access it is by "jailbreaking"....
"We had that protected on the system. It had root protection and was sandboxed from any other application. But if someone hacks their phone and jailbreaks it, they can get to this and misunderstand the point of that."
----
"One thing I think we have learned is that the cache we had on the systemthe point of that cache, is we do all the location calculations on the phone itself so no location calculations are done separately. You can imagine in an ideal world the entire crowdsourced database is on the phone and it just never has to talk to a server to do these calculations (or) to even get the cache.
What we do is we cache a subset of that. We picked a size, around 2MB, which is less than half a song. It turns out it was fairly large and could hold items for a long time.

I am not defending Full of Win. I sincerely am not...
Problem is that his information is not factual. It's FUD.

Yeah, right. And don't tell me that you haven't heard about the release that will follow Leopard! They say it will even have a new Finder.

This is fantastic news! I am stunned! Yes a lot of large enterprises and non-profits use Lotus Notes...it is more pervasive than you would think, and if IBM are taking notice of a increasing demand, I am drooling at the mouth to start marketing Mac computers to my clients!

Hey everyone,
CafeMacs.com is a website/forum for all Mac users! It's a great site, and we're not too big yet, but we're looking to grow. We "need" more members to make the forums more active, so if you have some free time and feel like checkin it out, don't be afraid to register and make some posts!
Ryan, a.k.a Plymouthbreezer :)

The keynote was certainly not void of worthy content, and Jobs was masterful in his delivery. But I was surprised at what the keynote presentation lacked:

I cannot wait for iOS 5!!! I really hope the cloud takes over the role of iTunes in the area of file syncing, updating, etc. And we see a new maps application! Just those two would be great, but I know they'll be more! :)

Now there's an idea for a new Ramen Noodle flavoring packet. :o
Perhaps, for Nissin Ramen and Cup o' Noodles. It will hide the taste of the cardboard that Nissin call noodles.
Hey! Don't pull me off-topic. :D

Same here. I used to skip school to play Tempest. Awesome game. If only there was a hardware spinner you could use with it...
