Defender is from Midway Games and they're under Liquidation now:

Maybe Atari should buy their games?
William's Electronics originally made Defender before Midway bought them up. Stargate was the sequel (later renamed Defender II for legal reasons I've heard)
William's games were my favorite with Joust and Robotron (as well as their "High Speed" pinball) at the top of the list.
FWIW, back in the 80's, Midway, Williams, Atari and to a lesser degree, Stern and Tatio dominated the US arcades. Nintendo joined with Donkey Kong but I don't remember them being as big as the 1st three until their "vs'" series came out which allowed head-to-head play.
If these games are all Atari, you're not going to see Defender on the list.
The Bally/Midway division of Bally was purchased and reincorporated in 1988 by the arcade and pinball game company Williams Electronics Games through its holding company WMS Industries Inc.

Does anybody understand why Metal Gear Solid 4 was on the PS3, and then was on the Xbox 360? I feel ripped off. The Wii has a larger installed base. I feel so ripped off I'm refusing to give Konami any props. I'm just giving props to PC games. I'm not upset.

As mentioned before, iPhone has continually been compared to Android as platform rather than manufacturer's phone to phone.
The only people who want to compare it that way are apple fans. The rest of the world rightfully compare it according to device. Smartphone OS to smartphone OS.

I have found a fun site for those of us that like some of the old time radio programs. http://radiolovers.com/ There is a bunch of stuff there in MP3 ctrl click lets you down load it On the left there is a link for all shows I found this to be a faster way to find what I wanted. Hope that some of you out there have fun with it

yes imacsoft do a dvd - audio ripper we use it in work as part of our media conversion bundles...

Yeah- this looks to be a bummer for us folks with iOS devices. Apple will have to devote a bunch of resources just to bring their own maps implementation to be as good as google's, the better version on android not withstanding. As someone else pointed out, apple will still need to get maps from somewhere, no matter how good their implementation.

i would think 'yes' and 'yes'. more ram will make everything work better, but i also saw a huge improvement moving to a better/faster video card.
ask zen about his card since he is still up and running everyday. i used a pc ATI 9800 and flashed it, then installed a super quiet arctic-cooling aftermarket rig, worked like magic on everything from desktop to 'eye candy' to internet.
you know, you're going to need to post pictures of this thing at some point, or it didn't happen... ;) best of luck.
