Arnold Schwarzenegger will reportedly file a new response to Maria Shriver's divorce petition on Monday, July 25, agreeing to spousal support.
Arnold's initial response filed in court earlier this week, while his and Maria's son Christopher was in ICU, had sought to deny Maria spousal support and legal fees.
Maria had reportedly been hurt by Arnold's insensitivity considering that it was his infidelity that compelled her to seek a divorce.
Sources connected with Arnold tell TMZ that at the time of signing the initial response the former governor had been preoccupied with Christopher's medical emergency and had signed the papers without carefully perusing them, relying on his lawyer to do the right thing.
Arnold's filing triggered a conflict in the divorce proceedings that had so far been amicable, but Arnold is now set to make amends.
Maria and Arnold are in the midst of coping with serious injuries sustained by Christopher, 13, while boogie boarding on Malibu beach the previous weekend.
Christopher is reported to have collided with a large wave and had to be rushed to ER with several broken bones and a collapsed lung. He spent several days in the Intensive Care Unit, but is now well on his way to full recovery.
