Jennifer Aniston Taking a Year Long Sabbatical From Films

Jennifer Aniston wants to take a year off from films and focus on her love life with Justin Theroux, according to Us Weekly.

"Jen's taking a year off from work to enjoy herself," an Aniston insider tells the current issue of the magazine.

Aniston's next release, Wanderlust, now in post production, is due for release on October 7. The 42-year-old actress co-stars with Theroux in the film. She has not signed on for any more films.

The only project she is working on is her home production The Goree Girls a musical film based on a true story and set in the 1940s. The film tells the story of eight Goree Prison inmates who form a country-western band.

Filming was to begin in January 2010 but was pushed back to accommodate Aniston's filming of Just Go With It. Also, co-producer Ellen Pompeo wanted to spend more time with her new born daughter Stella.

To enhance the script, Aniston has collaborated with Justin Theroux who has impressive screenplay credits for Tropic Thunder and Iron Man 2.

"She wants to collaborate with [Justin Theroux]. She's impressed by his ability to find humor in dry material," a second source tell Us.
