Transformers girl bares for new Burberry Ad Campaign


British actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who rose to fame as a model after featuring in a 2008 ad campaign for Burberry, has teamed up with the luxury fashion brand once again. She is endorsing its latest fragrance ‘Body’ and features in a sensuous ad.

“It’s a huge honour to be working with Burberry again, a brand that put my career on the map and helped launch me. To be asked to be the first ‘Burberry Body’ is an amazing compliment,” the 24-year-old, Transformers: Dark of the Moon actress said in a statement.

Voted the hottest woman of the year by Maxim magazine recently, Huntington-Whiteley has worn only a rose gold satin trench coat and the scent for the latest Burberry campaign.

“Burberry Body is the most exciting launch that we have ever created and captures the iconic spirit of the brand today in a striking and sensual way. Rosie’s effortless style and her staggering beauty made her the natural choice as the first Burberry Body,” said Christopher Bailey, Chief Creative Officer,Burberry.

The brand hopes to create a unique portfolio of ‘Burberry Bodies’ shot by Mario Testino, to iconise the fragrance for future.

The latest fragrance will be launched in over 150 countries starting Sep 1.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley Burberry Body Fragrance Ad


Megan who? Transformers newcomer Rosie Huntington Whiteley has been unveiled as the face of Burberry’s new women’s fragrance, Burberry Body.

“It’s a huge honour to be working with Burberry again, a brand that put my career on the map and helped launch me. To be asked to be the first Burberry Body is an amazing compliment,” says Rosie, a Victoria’s Secret Angel who has most recently been doing the red-carpet rounds for the world premiere of Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.

Huntington-Whiteley has history with Burberry. It was the British fashion house that helped launch her modeling career when they featured her as the replacement for Agyness Deyn in their 2008 ad campaign.

The Burberry Body campaign was shot by Mario Testino and features Rosie wearing only a Burberry trench coat, oh and the scent too, of course – which will launch Stateside on Sept. 1.

Rihanna Replaces Megan Fox in Emporio Armani Underwear, Jeans Ads


Rihanna will be the new face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans, the Italian fashion label announced on Monday, July 11.

Rihanna, 23, will feature in the Fall/Winter 2011-2012 ad campaign due for release in September.

The campaign was shot in NYC.

Other celebrities who've previously endorsed the brand include Megan fox, Cristiano Ronaldo, who fronted the 2010 campaign, and David and Victoria Beckham who modeled for the label in 2009.

Rihanna has an impressive list of past and current endorsements. Her first endorsement deal was in 2005 with Secret Body Spray who sponsored her first tour, Rihanna's Secret Body Spray Tour.

In 2006 she made deals with Nike sportswear, J. C. Penney and Clinique's Happy fragrance.

In 2007, Rihanna signed on with CoverGirl as their celebrity spokesperson, a job that included appearing in TV commercials.

In 2008 the pop star appeared in provocative Gucci handbag ads.

In 2010 Rihanna replaced singer Pink in the TV ads for Australian telecommunication company Optus.

Earlier this year she became the spokesmodel of Nivea and face of Barbados Tourism Authority's tourism commercials.

If Megan Fox's underwear ads from last year represent the bar that needs to be raisd, Rihanna fans are in for a torment.

Rachel Weisz in new Bulgari Ad


Maybe star Rachel Weisz has sure had a whirlwind of a year. At the end of 2010, the actress was revealed to be dating Bond star, Daniel Craig.

Then, last week, she wed the actor in a private ceremony in New York. And now, the unstoppable actress is the face of the Bulgari Jasmin Noir ad campaign. Nice one, Rach!

The ad shows the 41 year old lounging next to a lion, clutching an oversized bottle of the scent. And, we have to admit, she is looking very seductive. Ooer!

A spokesperson for the brand revealed, “Rachel Weisz embodies the quintessential contemporary woman. Her beauty portrays simple yet extremely intriguing femininity.”

And it’s not just Bulgari who appreciate Rachel’s stunning looks. She has previously been the face of a Burberry London campaign, too.

The Lovely Bones actress wed her hunk in a top-secret ceremony – it would certainly have impressed Mr Bond himself.

A close friend of Craig’s revealed that the star is “very happy” with his new wife. Awww, shucks.

Best be careful, Rach. Any more praise and your head will be as big as that fragrance!

Miu Ad

Hailee Steinfeld’s Miu Miu ad is here — despite initial concerns about the teenager’s ability to convincingly hock designer threads to women twice her age. The Oscar nominee, 14, wears a black bird-print dress, to-die-for shoe boots, chic sunglasses, topped off with an oversized clutch in her first campaign for the fashion house.

The Autumn/Winter 2011-12 campaign was shot by Bruce Weber –- a change of direction for Miu Miu, which has used the famous photog-duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for its previous nine seasons of campaigns. Hailee was handpicked for the campaign by creative director Miuccia Prada after she struck up a friendship with both her Miu Miu and Prada labels. A very memorable Prada moment for Hailee was the strippy-print dress she donned at the 2011 Screen Actors Guild awards. The young actress also sat front row at Miu Miu’s Fall Fashion Show as a special guest of Miuccia.

“Miu Miu is such a perfect fit for her. Throughout awards season, they were the dresses she wanted to wear,” says Hailee’s stylist, Karla Welch.

The young star, who was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in 2010′s box office western True Grit, follows in some high-profile footsteps in modelling for Miu Miu. Lindsay Lohan posed for Miu Miu’s spring/summer 2007 line. Actress Kirsten Dunst struck a pose for the label in 2008. Maggie Gyllenhaal is also a former brand spokesmodel.

Lindsay Lohan Air New Zealand Commercial


The work just keeps rolling in for La Lohan. Lindsay’s filmed an ad for Air New Zealand despite being under house arrest for jewelry theft. The airline is known for its zany advertising and tipped the trouble-prone actress to film a promotional clip for the company just hours before appearing in court for “allegedly” violating the terms of her probation by drinking.

Lohan, 24, spent Wednesday afternoon filming a sketch with Rico, the Kiwi airline’s furry puppet mascot, at her Los Angeles apartment, TMZ reports.

“It’s funny, but given Lindsay’s current situation … the timing ain’t ideal for her,” says a snoop.

Air New Zealand was in Los Angeles this week filming with E! hostess Giuliana Rancic and former Baywatch actor David Hasselhoff, somehow LiLo made her way into the mix.

“[We] also swung by to see Lindsay Lohan,” the airline said in a statement.

The Mean Girls actress is the latest in a string of celebrities, including Snoop Dog and Richard Simmons, to pair up with Air New Zealand. The house-bound star also found time to film a super low-budget spot for auction website Beezid.com while doing time for being a trainwreck. Chillin’ at her Venice Beach pad, presumably wearing her ankle monitor, Lindsay smiles as she tells the world how much she loves the site in a commercial that surfaced online earlier this week.

Lohan was banned Thursday from partying while under home detention, but escaped jail after reportedly testing positive for alcohol.

Angelina Jolie Louis Vuitton Core Values Ad Campaign


Just call her Louis’ Girl! Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie poses in debut campaign as the new face of famed French fashion house Louis Vuitton and its “Core Values” campaign.

In the ad, unveiled on the pages of Woman’s Wear Daily (WWD) Monday, Jolie’s sits sans makeup with a weathered, monogrammed LV Alto bag at her side. She was photographed by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz aboard a wooden boat floating in a green marsh in Cambodia’s Siem Reap Province — an area the actress discovered during filming for her 2000 film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

“People are not used to seeing Angelina in this situation,” Vuitton executive vice president Pietro Beccari tells WWD of the makeup-free image. “I like the fact that it’s a real moment. This travel message we give through personal journeys is a fundamental one for the brand.”

In April, Jolie signed a lucrative deal with LV for what E! News snoops say will be a print-only campaign. Jolie will be paid “close to $10 million” for her work with the brand, a source familiar with discussions reports. The gig is expected to be the most lucrative endorsement deal of Angelina’s career. She’ll reportedly donate all proceeds from the Vuitton deal to charity.

Jolie’s three-year endorsement deal with St. John ended in 2010. The mother-of-six recently launched a jewelry line dubbed Style of Jolie.

Rihanna California King Bed Will Be Featured In New Nivea Ads

Bajan hitmaker Rihanna has released her most sultry video yet for her new ballad, “California King Bed.” In a marked departure from her uptempo hit “Only Girl (in the World),” the sixth single from her hit Loud album, is a slow-paced song about lovers growing apart. The short film, which was directed by Anthony Mandler in Los Angeles, features the scarlet-haired beauty lying between the sheets with a shirtless lover.

For those not in-the-know, RiRi’s been tapped as the official spokesmodel of skincare brand Nivea. The company, celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2011, will feature “California King Bed” in a series of new commercial ads premiering this summer. The sexy islander performed the track for Nivea bosses during a company-sponsored event over the weekend.

Kate Bosworth is the new face of Cotton. The Beyond the Sea actress sings the praises of the white stuff in a new commercial for Cotton Incorporated’s “The Fabric Of My Life” campaign.

The 30-second ad spot, which debuted on Tuesday, features Kate modelling cotton designes fashions by Prada, Rodarte, and Nina Ricci. The blonde beauty also uses the TV advert to make her singing debut.

Hardly had Keira Knightley gone through with Blake Lively’s handbag campaign when Chanel had another commission pat for her – an appearance in a teaser clip advertising the Mademoiselle scent.

The video commercial, scheduled to be available on Chanel’s website since March 21, was directed by Knightley’s collaborator from the days of the shooting of Pride and Prejudice, Joe Wright.

The Curse of the Black Pearl star shared that she had had no inkling of what she will have to do and wear in the 40-second video, just the barest facts. We will see her in the company a stunning guy with a motorcycle nearby, sporting a beige catsuit. She confessed that the image she cut was “completely unexpected” for her, but she did her best to play a Chanel woman heroine.

Chanel obviously think she succeeds in that, for it is Knightley’s fourth year in the Mademoiselle fragrance adverts since she replaced Chanel’s previous face, Kate Moss, back in 2007. Moss is now Dior’s star for their Addict beauty line.

Blake Lively Chanel Mademoiselle Handbag Ad


Shot by Fashion Guy Karl Lagerfeld himself, Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively stars in a new Chanel ad campaign promoting the brand’s Mademoiselle collection of handbags.

The Mademoiselle Bag was introduced for the 2011 Cruise season and ranges in price from $2,000 to $3,300.
Blake appears in the Spring/Summer 2011 promotional campaign, photographed in and around Coco Chanel’s old apartment in Paris France.

“I have such a respect for fashion and such an appreciation for it that if there are people like Karl Lagerfeld out there designing, who am I? I want to bow down to them and be a representative for them if they’ll have me,” Lively told Women’s Wear Daily Monday.

Though she loves acting and modeling, Blake’s still got her heart set on one day walking her gorgeous gams through the front door of her own restaurant.

“I do plan to open a few restaurants one day. I will be the chef, I will create the menus, I will decorate…”

Lively, 23, joins current Chanel amassadors Anna Mouglalis, Audrey Tatou, Keira Knightley, and Georgia May Jagger.

Tiger Mistress Rachel Uchitel NOH8 Gay Marriage Campaign


The most famous of Tiger Woods’ former lasses is keeping her lips sealed again — but this time it’s for a good cause.

The NYC nightclub who set off The Tiger Woods Sex Scandal in late 2009 was photographed posing for the NOH8 campaign with duct tape over her mouth and the group’s logo on her face. The campaign is spearheaded by a gay-rights activist group and began after the ban on gay marriage passed in California in 2008.

“I love that these 2 guys started this 2 years ago and its still going strong,” Uchitel Tweeted over the weekend.

The campaign has also featured political wife Cindy McCain, Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown, Project Runway winner Christian Siriano, and others.

The raven-haired Rachel is a self-professed “love addict” and was featured on last season of VH1′s Celebrity Rehab. Uchitel reportedly received a seven-figure settlement in exchange for staying tight-lipped about her “alleged” (Hint, Nudge, Wink) affair with Tiger.

Miss India 2011 Calendar Launch in GOA


The calendar was unveiled by Marc Robinson, Creative Director of the Femina Miss India 2011 Calendar and also Contestant and Fashion Director, Pantaloons Femina Miss India.

The Femina Miss India 2011 Calendar has been launched in association with Tito’s. Speaking on the association of Tito’s with the Femina Miss India 2011 Calendar, owners Ricardo and David De’ Souza said, “We are happy to be associated with the Femina Miss India Calendar 2011. The brand fit is absolutely right and the calendar reflects an unparalleled spirit of freshness. Tito’s completes 40 years in April 2011, and the calendar launch promises to be the first in a series of events planned to commemorate our 40th anniversary celebrations.”

The Miss India winners, PFMI World 2010 Manasvi Mamgai, Miss Earth 2010 and PFMI Earth 2010 Nicole Faria and PFMI International 2010 Neha Hinge echoed similar sentiments and said that the Femina Miss India Calendar is a great way of honouring and positioning the PFMI winners. The girls loved the experience of shooting at Fiji and thanked Jitu for the fabulous shots.

The launch of the calendar in association with Titos at the Tito’s Courtyard drew in a number of Goa’s known faces including musician Remo Fernandes and Calangute MLA Agnelo Fernandes. Adding to the night, The Turbans performed their eclectic music set while rope acrobats and fire dancers added to the entertainment.

Femina Miss India, India’s oldest and most sought after beauty pageants has evolved constantly with new initiatives being added each year to make it a more engaging and innovative platform for beauty, glamour and style. The calendar is an epitome of beauty, fashion and style and an aspiration for future generations of Miss Indias.

Keira Knightley admits to nerves over Chanel ad


Keira Knightley has revealed that she was originally worried about becoming the face of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle fragrance. The British actress admitted that she wasn’t sure how well the adverts would be received to begin with. She told Stylist magazine, “With the first one I think we were all a bit worried because we didn’t know if it was going to sell well and it was taking over this enormous thing. “It was quite frightening. But the latest one, because we went with the same team we had a really lovely time.” The 25-year-old added, “It’s always nice to have an occasion to wear a silly frock and get dolled up.”

Vanessa Hudgens Candie’s Ad Campaign Spokesmodel Spring 2011

Baby V is stepping into Britney’s Candie’s shoes!

On Tuesday, Candie’s announced that High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens will succeed pop songstress Britney Spears as the brand’s new celebrity spokesmodel, following in the footsteps of a bevy of beauties who have lent their famous faces to previous Candie’s campaigns, including Hayden Panettiere, Fergie, Hilary Duff, Jenny McCarthy and the Dixie Chicks.

It sounds like Vanessa’s stunning company! The Beastly actress couldn’t agree more.

“Ever since I saw Fergie do the ads for Candie’s I fell in love. It’s such an honor to be able to be a Candie’s girl now. It’s amazing, super cute and very reasonably priced.”

Vanessa also spoke highly of her Candie’s predecessor, Spears, who wished the brunette luck with the Candie’s campaign in a Tweet sent out on Tuesday afternoon.

“….You’re a tough act to follow …but, I’m so excited to be the new Candie’s girl for 2011!!” Vanessa replied.

Hudgens’ Candie’s campaign will make its debut in March issues of fashion and lifestyle magazines, like Seventeen, Teen Vogue, and Cosmopolitan. The campaign was shot at the Pink Motel in Sun Valley, California by fashion photographer Tony Duran. In fact, Vanessa turned 22 during the shoot and celebrated on set with a big cake.

Candie’s, a fashion staple for stylish young women since 1981, is comprised of an assortment of clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, and accessories and is sold exclusively at Kohl’s and Kohls.com.

Kristen Bell Neutrogena Ad Campaign Spokesmodel


Say hello to the new face of Neutrogena: Former Veronica Mars actress Kristen Bell!

Bell will be the new face of the Neutrogena Naturals line, E! News reported Monday.

Neutrogena’s staying mum on the details of the deal, but a source close to the situation says the Detroit native, 30, will earn somewhere in the neighborhood of $500,000 to lend her face to a multi-media ad campaign for the Johnson & Johnson-owned beauty brand.

“She’s got an all-American look that is very relatable for a lot of women. She is a great fit for the brand,” one insider divulged.

Bell joins a full roster of Hollywood stunners who double as Neutrogena spokesmodels — including former Alias actress Jennifer Garner, Vanessa Hudgens of High School Musical fame, and iCarly’s actress Miranda Cosgrove.
