China Glaze Grape Crush!

Lucky me! I am the proud owner of China Glaze Grape Crush!

Grape Crush has become a HTF polish as it is an older color, part of the Urban Chic collection. Not sure of what year that this was released, but it does appear randomly on ebay. It is a gorgeous purple shade with holographic micro glitter. This polish is beyond awesome! It is definitely one of my all time favorites! I applied two coats then added a layer of Gelous before top coat (I am getting in the habit of always using this with any glitter polish). In this case I used Qtica Extending Top Coat.

And OF COURSE I needed some sunlight shots!

*A special thanks to Chelsea at Pretty 'N' Polish for finding this gem of a polish for me! Check out Chelsea's blog, she has a list of HTF polishes for sale, and she dusty hunts regularly, perhaps she can help you cross off some of your wishlist too!*

China Glaze LOL!

Ahhhh yes... get out your bibs ladies, its time to drool!!

Today I want to show you LOL. I got this one from ebay for a killer price! I won 3 auctions back to back from a seller and LOL was one of them. I won it for only $12.99 with FREE shipping! Amazing! EPIC WIN!!

OMG is a dark purple with a strong holographic effect. The bottle looks a bit deceiving, but once the polish dries on the nail, OMG!..(perhaps that's why the collection is named OMG?) I applied 2 coats of LOL over 1 coat of Orly Calcium Shield. These photos are without top coat. I was afraid if I applied top coat, it would weaken the holo effect. I wanted to take photos while it still looked awesome. I did end up using top coat afterwards, at first the holo went away but it slowly came back! HOORAY!!

Unfortunately, there was no sun today. But who needs sun when you have a desk lamp! LOL
Enjoy!

China Glaze Atlantis!

Finally I get to try out Atlantis. It has been sitting in my untrieds for quite some time. I kinda forgot about it, lol shame on me! I thought it would look great layered over yesterday's post Milani Fresh Teal. I was right! Its a great combination! I added 2 coats of Atlantis to the existing 2 coats of Fresh Teal. Followed by 1 coat of Gelous and then 1 coat of Orly Wont Chip.

Have you heard of Gelous yet? It is meant to be a base coat, but it works well with hungry glitter. You can buy it at Sally's or by clicking HERE to order online. I love how Gelous smooths out the roughness of the glitter. This is definitely a must have if you love wearing glitter nail polish!

On to the pics! These were all taken indoors, under artificial light, no flash...

Blurred to see the holo-ey glitter goodness...

CLOSE UP!
