Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin have Joined the Cast of Jason Reitman
Hollywood actors Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin have joined the cast of Jason Reitman”s adaptation of ”Labor Day”.The film, which is based on the novel of the same name by Joyce Maynard, will see 35-year-old Winslet play a lonesome single mother and Brolin as a convicted murderer, Entertainment Weekly.This is for the first time that the trio is working together.The story is about Henry, a 13-year-old loner who spends most of his time watching television and dreaming of his female classmates. He is also bent on making his mother, Adele happy, even though he can never seem to do it.Reitman has a knack for developing films from novels. He wrote and directed ”Up in the Air”, which was adapted from a novel. He will also direct ”Young Adults”, which has been scripted by Diablo Cody. He previously worked with Cody on the critically-acclaimed ”Juno”.The drama, part love story, part coming-of-age tale, and part thriller, will go on floors next year.
