Charlie Sheen Roast Coming To Comedy Central Sept. 19

Color us thrilled! Comedy Central has plucked Hollywood’s most notorious warlock to succeed Donald Trump’s combover as the network’s next roastee.

Duh — Winning!

The Roast of Charlie Sheen will air Sept. 19 @ 10 PM on Comedy Central — and that’s no coincidence. For those not in-the-know, Sept. 19 happens to be the same night that Ashton Kutcher is set to make his debut as the latest addition to the cast of TV’s Two and a Half Men. The That ’70s Show alum will fill the vacancy left when Sheen was unceremoniously booted from the hit CBS sitcom last spring, following a very public spat with series producers.

Way to take the wind out of a guy’s sails, Comedy Central!

Sheen’s roast — which already has its own trending hashtag on Twitter: #SheenRoast — will tape in Los Angeles on Saturday, Sept. 10. Famemongers say it’s never to early to start primping for your closeup and Carlos is already dusting off his dentures and scouring the back alleys of Los Angeles for a escort goddess to accompany him on the big night.

“You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this Roast for a while. It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic,” Sheen said.

Kent Alterman, Head of Original Programming and Production for Comedy Central, said Sheen assured the network that “nothing will be off limits in this Roast … which scares even us.”

Former Comedy Central roastees include Joan Rivers, Pamela Anderson, Flavor Flav, and William Shatner.
