Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has vowed to take a more proactive approach to running her business after a Las Vegas eatery/nightclub co-owned by the actress filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Friday.
Despite its financial troubles, Beso will remain open for business, according to a statement issued by Eva’s rep.
According to the rep, Eva and her new restaurant management team are taking action to become “hands-on in the development and promotion of Beso Restaurant and Eve Nightclub immediately.”
“Eva Longoria and her Beso Restaurant and Eve Nightclub at the Crystals Plaza in MGM’s City Center have filed a controlled and organized Chapter 11 bankruptcy.”
Eva added: “It’s a New Year and we’re making a new start. This is a great opportunity to begin anew, and I look forward to an exciting and enterprising 2011. I look forward to a more proactive hands-on approach in the coming years with my Las Vegas businesses.”
