Edwards proposed to his mistress/mother of his lovechild Rielle Hunter three weeks after his estranged wife, Elizabeth, died from cancer, The National Enquirer has claimed.
According to the tabloid, Edwards introduced his three children with Elizabeth to Rielle and Frances Quinn at a North Carolina restaurant last month. Of course, if you believe the Enquirer, the two have been engaged for a while. With an enormous beach house, yet. But we’d like to think three weeks after his wife’s death is a bit soon, even for these two.
“I do know that I love him and that love is till death do us part, and probably beyond,” the Politico quoted Hunter as recently telling GQ magazine.
“We have a child together, so at the very least we will be co-parent together,” Hunter added.
