Rumored real life couple Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor will be romantically paired in Kunal Kohli's Next.
Kohli confirmed Priyanka Chopra as lead in the film opposite Shahid Kapoor on January 14, 2011, when he tweeted:
"Priyanka Chopra will star opposite Shahid Kapoor in my next film. Pritam is the music director. Lyrics by Prasoon Joshi."
Earlier, Kunal Kohli announced the project over his Twitter account on Saturday, November 27, 2010.
"Shahid Kapur and me working together in my next film. Will hopefully sign the heroine in the next few days. Will keep you posted :-)," he tweeted.
Production for the film will start in April 2011.
Kapoor and Chopra were earlier paired in the critically acclaimed 2009 film Kaminey directed by Vishaal Bhardawaj and reportedly fell in love during its filming.
