Eminem Eyeing A Comeback With Crime Thriller For 20th Century Fox


Popular rapper Eminem is considering for taking a second time plunge into movies. The latest reports swirling the Hollywood circles is that the rapper is all set to act in a movie. According to sources, the rapper will be acting in a thriller by 20th Century Fox named “Random Acts of Violence”. The movie is said to have been planned for the last four years and now finally the producers are all geared up to give it a final shape.

The master of rap music, however, this is not the first time that the actor will be seen in a flick. Earlier, the singer had acted in the movie called “8 Mile” in 2002. Withdrawing himself from his film career, Eminem is back from his hiatus from films. The singer however, continued delivering hits one after another in all these years securing a top place for himself in the music charts. His last album “Recovery” set records and notched the No 1 position on the list. A source confirmed that the script of “Random Acts of Violence” has been changed and updated several times in the last four years. With the script finally ready the makers announced for the start.

Buzz has shot up that the movie in all chances will be directed by David Von Ancken. The producers of “Random Acts of Violence” will be none other than Paul Rosenberg and Stuart Parr who are the rapper’s Shady Films colleagues. The duo also directed the Grammy and Oscar-winning performer’s debut “8 Mile”. On the other side there are also reports that Eminem has also been roped in for a movie called “Southpaw” where he is expected to play the role of a boxer.
