Nobody was surprised when Katie Price, a.k.a Jordan, admitted her marriage to cage fighter Alex Reid was on the brink of collapse and now the glamour model and reality star has reportedly called in her lawyers to discuss divorce proceedings.
“Kate is being quite clever and is keeping Alex hanging on while she works out what to do,” dailystar.co.uk quoted a friend as saying. “That means he has stayed in the house and she knows exactly what he’s up to. She has been holding him to ransom as he tries to patch things up. Kate has told pals that Alex can never do a kiss-and-tell because she knows all the dirty secrets from his past,” the friend added.
It could get ugly for the soon-to-be-exes as a cursory look at Katie’s life and times reveals a past more colourful than Alex Reid’s is likely to be. Famous for being famous, Katie divorced singer Peter Andre to marry Reid only four months later. She also previously dated a string of singers and footballers, including Teddy Sheringham and Dwight Yorke with whom she has a son.
The 32 year old star recently confirmed her marriage crisis on Twitter but also said she remained positive about her future with Reid. The couple even jetted off to an island in the Indian Ocean to work on their problems but their attempt at reconciliation seems to have ended in failure.
