Vidya Balan looked beautiful in a red sparkly sari at the premiere of No One Killed Jessica (NOKJ) in Mumbai on January 5.
The 33-year-old Ishqiya star rested the eye in a red chiffon sari, accented with gold embellishments. She wore a matching red and golden backless blouse with wide bateau neckline and elbow length sleeves. Waist length tresses, styled in soft waves, framed her face. Winged eyeliner, nude lip gloss and simple red bindi added to her mesmerizing allure. Vidya and her co-star Rani Mukerji functioned as a team at the premiere, wearing co-ordinated color attires, posing together on red carpet and welcoming guests that included many Bollywood heavyweights. Debutant Myra Kam, who plays Jessica Lal in the film, made her public debut at the premiere. Vidya, who plays Jessica Lal's sister in the film, introduced Myra to the guests as her sister, alluding to their on screen relationship. Vidya, Rani and Myra together posed for photogs. Vidya's family attended the event in support of the talented star. Bollywood veteran Rekha - youthfully attired in black riding pants, mandarin collar black coat, black sneakers and sunglasses – bonded with the two NOKJ leading ladies. A freshly tanned Amitabh Bachchan after a vacation with family in Goa, attended the premiere on a special invite from Balan. "Vidya Balan invited us to see 'No one killed Jessica' .. strong film .. media centric and how it turned a judgment around .." Big B tweeted after the screening. The film is based on the controversial Jessica Lal murder case in the NCR. It opened in theaters today, January 7.
