Camilla Luddington Will Be Kate Middleton in Lifetime Channel's Royal Wedding Film

As if the actual royal wedding isn't enough drama, Lifetime Channel is planning a film based on the bride and groom, simply titled "Will and Kate."

Previously unknown to the public, actor Nico Evers Swindell will play the role of William while Star Trek's Ben Cross will portray Prince Charles. As for Kate Middleton, she will be played by British actress Camilla Luddington.

Luddington is best known to US audiences for her work in the show CSI and will feature in the Hallmark tv movie "Accidentally in Love", yet to release. The Brit beauty also happens to be from Berkshire county, a place where Middleton has lived in the past.

The story of the film was first broken by Deadline Hollywood.

Production for "Will and Kate" is intended to be a quick affair in order for the film to premiere around April 29.

Rumors are floating that the couple plan to make their first trip as husband and wife in the country due to economic concerns, but nothing has been confirmed.

Seems like Americans can't get enough of the royals, but with a hottie like William, can you blame us?
