Ajay Devgan is reportedly back in the upcoming film 'Power' after having opted out of the project in early December.

According to the TOI, Devgan was persuaded to return to the project by the film's producer Firoz Nadiadwala, who met Devgan on Thursday evening, January 20 at Filmistan studios, where Ajay was filming an episode of the TV show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa to promote his upcoming film Dil To Baccha Hai Ji.

Devgan had reportedly dropped out of Power because it featured an ensemble cast. So Nadiadwala, sweetened the deal by offering Devgan a second film and a fat paycheck to cover both the projects

Ajay is now reported to be adjusting his dates to accommodate the schedule for Power.

Power was launched on September 22, 201 at a star studded event attended by the entire cast of the film - Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Ameesha Patel, Kangana Ranaut, Anuradha Patel and Lekha Washington.

The film's shooting schedule was disrupted when Devgan walked out of the project in early December citing date conflicts.

"There were a lot of issues including date problems," Ajay told PTI.

'Power' is touted to be the most expensive film ever produced in the Indian film industry. Its production team includes Action Directors and Stunt Coordinators from Hollywood who have worked on big films like Casino Royale, Born Identity series, Spiderman and Swordfish.

The VFX team that worked on the Hollywood blockbuster 2012 will is also a part of the project.

The film will be shot in New York.
