Sunny Deol compares his Yamla Pagla Deewana co-star and father Dharmendra to the Taj Mahal, which cannot be imitated.
In a recent interview with DNA, Sunny was asked which of his father's film he would like to remake.
"I wouldn't do that. I won't be able to. Dad is dad. He's got his own personality. He has his own way of bringing it across, his own structure. We cannot match up to dad. It's very difficult to come up with one Taj Mahal and then build another one."
Dharmendra, who was also simultaneously interviewed humorously added, "But we are coming up with a different kind of architecture now."
During the interview, the Deols also lamented Bollywood's split into rival camps.
Bollywood is still "a family, but it is a family of camps," said Sunny.
"We were never a part of any camp. Dad never believed in camps so we were unaware of this camp thing altogether," he added.
To which Dharmendra added, "God has put me on this express highway called Bollywood — a beautiful highway with lots of traffic. Just keep moving on your track and keep going, warding off the traffic."
Here are some other excerpts from the interview.
"In acting you have to do everything," but after the success of Yamla Pagla Deewana "I want to do more of non-serious stuff.
I will launch my son into films, "but not anytime soon."
When I am not acting in films "I like to go out hiking. I am into gaming and adventure sports."
