Maya Rudolph Gives Birth To Baby Boy

The 38-year-old comedienne and her husband, director Paul Thomas Anderson, welcomed their third child, a son Jack, on July 3, Rudolph’s rep tells Us Weekly.

Jack joins older sisters Pearl, 5, and Lucille, 20 months.

“I make big babies,” Rudolph joked during a May appearance on Ellen. “Pearl was 7 lbs, 5 oz, but she was three weeks early. That’s a big baby! Lucy was 8 lbs, 8 oz, so this one’s going to be 20 lbs.”

Rudolph, who most recently voiced Mollie the Giraffe in Zookeeper, next appears in the NBC comedy Up All Night, premiering this fall. It’ll be one big happy baby-friendly family when Maya joins her castmates on set. Series co-star Christina Applegate gave birth to her first child, daughter Sadie, back in January. Meanwhile Will Arnett and his wife Amy Poehler welcomed their second son, Abel, last summer.
