Prince William and Kate Middleton Send Wedding Confirmation Faxes

As most of the planet is already aware, the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton will take place on April 29. Buckingham Palace has faxed save-the-date notices to the senior members of European royal families.

A press official for King Constantine, 70, and Queen Anne-Marie, 64, of Greece, informed People magazine that, "I cannot give you any further details other than that they have received a sort of save-the-date fax."

Every possibility exists that first-born son Prince Pavlos and his wife, Princess Marie-Chantal, (who was born Stateside), will find their names on the guest list.

This can be explained by the fact that Prince William holds the title of godfather to their oldest son, Konstantinos-Alexios, 12.

The complete list of guests is still being created and given the finishing touches by William, his bride, and the royal staff, but the royal families of Spain, Greece, and Denmark are expected to get invitations.

Another given is that Prince Alexander and Princess Katherine of Serbia will be in attendance. According to their official website, the couple has responded that they will be "delighted to attend."

A source close to the royals informs that messages have made their way to certain families to prevent any date conflicts so that potential guests will have advance notice that they are on the guest list

Hopefully, all of them will say yes, as we can't imagine turning down Britain's hottest royal for any reason!

Big B to dye beard, hair for Boodha

After retaining the same look for past 11 years, Amitabh Bachchan has suddenly turned experimental about his looks.

First he decided to sport a trimmed beard and new hairstyle in AarakshanBoodha, Big B will dye his beard and hair into a trendy colour, which is yet to be decided.

According to insiders, Big B would either sport a red-tinted beard and hair in the movie — which will be directed by Telugu maverick Puri Jagannath — or it could be various flamboyant colours.

When contacted, Jagannath said: “That’s right. Bachchan sir is going totally psychedelic for his part in Boodha. You see, he plays a man who is 60 but believes he’s still 25. So he moves around dressed and made up like today’s youngster. And if anyone calls him a boodha (old man) he is livid. He will be dyeing his beard and and now for wig.”

Even the clothesline for Big B in Boodha would be in keeping with his character of a man of 25. Apparently, the megastar would be borrowing accessories from his son Abhishek’s wardrobe.

The film will go on floors next month.

Cher devastated by Oscars snub

Pop star and actress Cher is upset that her movie ‘Burlesque’ failed to bag an an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song this year.

The 64-year-old singer’s power ballad ‘You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me’ earned songwriter Diane Warren a Golden Globe earlier this month, but the track was left out of the Oscars shortlist when the nominations were announced on Tuesday.

Cher has since taken to her Twitter page to vent her frustration over the snub.

In a series of posts, she writes, “We didn’t get a nomination 4 best song! Diane’s song is so beautiful! It’s hard to understand how u win the Golden Globe 4 Best Song & not even get nominated by the Oscars? (sic)”

And despite topping Billboard’s Dance/Club Play Songs chart with the track, Cher worries Warren would have fared better with another vocalist, reported Contactmusic.

¬”Maybe she would have had a better chance if someone else was singing it ?! It just can’t b her song (sic),” Cher added.
